Fossil Mosasaur Teeth (with frame and stand)
📍 Only available for shipment in Tunisia
The Story
These authentic fossilized teeth belong to the Mosasaur, a formidable marine reptile that dominated the oceans during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 million years ago. While often compared to dinosaurs, Mosasaurs were actually apex marine predators more closely related to modern monitor lizards and Komodo dragons. Recovered from the rich phosphate deposits of Khouribga, Morocco, these conical teeth were designed for gripping and crushing prey in ancient seas. Presented in a floating frame with a display stand, this piece serves as a remarkable sign of the immense creatures that once inhabited the depths, providing a tangible link to a vanished aquatic world.
