Dahr • Earth & Era: Terms of Sale & Return Policy

At Dahr • Earth & Era, we deal exclusively in one-of-a-kind historical artifacts and numismatic treasures. Due to the unique nature of these items and the volatility of the precious metals market, all sales are final.

1. No-Return Policy

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for "change of mind," aesthetic preference, or market fluctuations. Once an order is placed and processed, the transaction is considered permanent.

2. Limited Exceptions

A return request will only be considered under the following two circumstances:

Verified Authenticity Dispute: Every item is guaranteed authentic for life. If a recognized third-party grading service (such as NGC or PCGS) determines an item to be "Not Genuine," we will issue a full refund. You must provide the official rejection report from the grading service.

Clerical Error: If the physical item received does not match the item shown in the listing (e.g., the wrong coin was shipped), you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Absolute Condition Requirements

For any authorized return under the exceptions above, the item must be returned in the exact condition in which it was dispatched.

Graded Items: The NGC/PCGS holder (slab) must be completely undamaged and untampered with. This includes, but is not limited to, the absence of new scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks. Any evidence of "re-holdering" or attempts to open the slab immediately voids the authenticity guarantee and return eligibility.

The Coin: The coin itself must be in the identical state as captured in our high-resolution archival photography. Any new scratches, cleaning marks, or chemical alterations will result in an immediate rejection of the return.

Raw Items: Must be returned in the original, tamper-evident security flip provided at the time of sale, completely undisturbed.

4. Unauthorized Returns

Any items sent back to us without prior written authorization, or items that arrive in a degraded condition, will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense.
